The music for Hinterland was created by improvising and looping with electric guitars, synthesizers and drum machines, resulting in a mix of styles including dark ambient, noise, and heavy shoegaze. Only three episodes of Hinterland were released—and episode three seems to have disappeared from the internet entirely—but a soundtrack album was also released on Bandcamp.
