Lucy Hale Day 2023

On 3 February 2023 I ran a workshop on using Makey Makey kits to create playable graphic scores for the Lucy Hale Day of Music, Disability and Technology, at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester.

It was amazing to have the opportunity to run an immersive workshop with a focus on two of my top special interests — music and accessibility — in such a safe and welcoming space. It was exciting, encouraging and affirming to meet and talk with so many participants and professionals with similar concerns and curiosity around inclusive music creation and performance.

I plan to continue developing and running this workshop over the coming year. If you are interested in learning more then please feel free to get in touch.
