A series of four free workshops in digital sound recording and production for beginners, at Open School East (2018).

 

Session 1: Wednesday 4 July 2018, 7-9pm

During the first session we looked at terminology and the fundamentals of field recording.

Session 2: Wednesday 11 July 2018, 7-9pm
During the second session we looked at signal processors, effects and sound manipulation.

Session 3: Wednesday 25 July 2018, 7-9pm
During the third session we explored playing and recording digital, acoustic, and experimental instruments.

Session 4: Wednesday 1 August 2018, 7-9pm
This fourth and last session of the series acted as a listening party for participants willing to share any work created during the course with the rest of the group.
